For more than 30 years, I have worked as a physician, and throughout my career I have always been committed to education and sharing knowledge. I believe it is essential to provide independent information about your health — this should be the responsibility of every healthcare professional. Over time, my professional journey has evolved: from a strictly traditional academic form of medicine to a more integrative approach to medicine. Along the way, I experienced the benefits of changing my lifestyle and diet, along with many other factors. I personally went through the devastating symptoms of early menopause and discovered hormone therapy with bioidentical hormones. After trying it myself, I regained a quality of life that I would describe as extraordinary.

I have also been an oncology patient myself, which allowed me to experience the situation from the other side — as a patient.

It was an incredibly valuable experience for me as a physician. I’m still here to tell the story, and it taught me a great deal.

When a patient tells you about symptoms that may sound unbelievable: believe them — always. Because they are experiencing them, and it is our responsibility to understand why.
