Q10-Top: Ubiquinol and Natural Astaxanthin in One Formula

Continuous biochemical processes take place in our cells that are essential for the functioning of the body. A substantial part of these processes takes place in the mitochondria. There, ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is produced – the molecule through which cells are supplied with the energy they need for their activities.

Coenzyme Q10 is a substance naturally produced by the body that is involved in biochemical processes within the mitochondria.

Q10-Top is a food supplement that combines Coenzyme Q10 in its reduced form as ubiquinol with natural astaxanthin from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis.

A specifically formulated blend for anyone who wants to incorporate these two substances into their daily routine – particularly with increasing age or during periods of a demanding daily life.

Product Description

Description

What is ubiquinol?

Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble substance that occurs naturally in the human body, particularly in cell membranes and mitochondria.

It occurs mainly in two forms:

  • Ubiquinone, the oxidized form;
  • Ubiquinol, the reduced form.

Q10-Top contains ubiquinol, one of the physiological forms in which Coenzyme Q10 occurs in the body.

From a biochemical perspective, Coenzyme Q10 is involved in the electron transport chain, which plays an important role in the production of ATP in the mitochondria. With increasing age, the concentration of Coenzyme Q10 in the body can change. Diet, lifestyle, and individual factors can also influence Q10 levels.

What is astaxanthin?

Astaxanthin is a fat-soluble carotenoid belonging to the xanthophyll group. It is characterized by its intense red-orange color and occurs naturally in various aquatic organisms.

The astaxanthin in Q10-Top is derived from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, one of the most important natural sources of this carotenoid.

The extract used is standardized to an astaxanthin content of 5%. This ensures a defined and consistent concentration. One Q10-Top capsule provides 5 mg of astaxanthin.

How is Q10-Top composed?

Q10-Top combines ubiquinol and astaxanthin in a single capsule. The two fat-soluble substances differ in their origin and properties and are the subject of nutritional research.

The recommended daily dose provides:

  • 50 mg of Coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinol;
  • 5 mg of natural astaxanthin from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis.
Why combine ubiquinol and astaxanthin?

Ubiquinol and astaxanthin are two distinct fat-soluble substances that are scientifically studied in connection with cellular processes.

Q10-Top combines both substances in a clearly structured formula. This means just one plant-based capsule per day is enough.

Who is Q10-Top for?

Q10-Top is intended for adults who:

  • want to supplement their diet with Coenzyme Q10 (in the form of ubiquinol) and astaxanthin;
  • prefer Coenzyme Q10 in its reduced form as ubiquinol;
  • are looking for astaxanthin from a clearly identified natural source;
  • want to combine both ingredients in a single formula;
  • pay closer attention to their diet as they get older;

Coenzyme Q10 in scientific research

Coenzyme Q10 is the subject of numerous scientific studies on cellular metabolism and various metabolic parameters.

A meta-analysis of 50 randomized clinical trials involving a total of 2,794 participants examined the relationship between Coenzyme Q10 supplementation and lipid profile in adults. On average, statistically significant changes were observed in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglyceride values.

In another randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, the daily intake of 120 mg of Coenzyme Q10 was examined in 101 adults with dyslipidemia over a period of 24 weeks. Changes in certain functional properties of HDL cholesterol were observed.

The available studies examined different dosages, formulations, and population groups. The results describe some of the current areas of research on Coenzyme Q10, but do not demonstrate any specific effects of the Q10-Top formulation and must not be understood as therapeutic claims.

DR. CRISTINA TOMASI

Toplife is my platform.

From here, I want to help you learn and put into practice the essential information needed to become the protagonist of your own health and regain the physical and emotional well-being you desire and truly deserve.

For more than 30 years, I have worked as a physician, and throughout my career I have always been committed to education and sharing knowledge. I believe it is essential to provide independent information about your health — this should be the responsibility of every healthcare professional.Over time, my professional journey has evolved: from a strictly traditional academic form of medicine to a more integrative approach to medicine. Along the way, I experienced the benefits of changing my lifestyle and diet, along with many other factors.I personally went through the devastating symptoms of early menopause and discovered hormone therapy with bioidentical hormones. After trying it myself, I regained a quality of life that I would describe as extraordinary.

I have also been an oncology patient myself, which allowed me to experience the situation from the other side — as a patient.

It was an incredibly valuable experience for me as a physician. I’m still here to tell the story, and it taught me a great deal.

When a patient tells you about symptoms that may sound unbelievable: believe them — always. Because they are experiencing them, and it is our responsibility to understand why.

Everything I have experienced has brought me here today, with the desire to share what helped me start over and become the protagonist of my own health.

So remember: you are not alone — I am here for you.
