Product Description
Description
Quality and origin: According to the producer, this rare single-variety honey comes directly from Sardinia and from natural apiaries of partner beekeepers in Italy. Wild rockrose forms extensive stands in only a few areas - harvesting takes place in April. The manufacturer relies on lab-tested quality.
Taste and characteristics: Colour ranging from dark yellow to brown, liquid consistency, and an intensely aromatic profile. Its spicy, full-bodied notes set it apart from more delicate floral honeys.
Use and sensory experience: An exceptionally rare liquid honey, with a spicy, full-bodied profile and an intense amber colour. Excellent on its own on bread, with aged cheeses, yoghurt, or as a distinctive note in marinades and glazes. In dishes, it adds intense sweetness and spicy depth.
Ingredients: 100% wild rockrose honey. No added ingredients.
Warnings: Store at room temperature. Crystallisation is a natural process. If needed, liquefy again in a water bath at around 40 °C. Do not give to children under 12 months of age. Colour and consistency may naturally vary.
